You Cannot Resist Me When My Hair Is in Braids: A Discussion with Author Frances Kai-Hwa Wang

March 31, 2022 / 6:00-7:00 p.m. EDT/ 3pm PDT/ 12pm HST

Register on Zoom:

Join us with author, speaker, and activist Frances Kai-Hwa Wang to discuss her new collection of essays, You Cannot Resist Me When My Hair Is in Braids. The book is a great gathering of the many contradictions, the multifaceted multitudes, of Frances Kai-Hwa Wang. Across its pages of aphorism, prose poem, micro-fiction, and lyric essay, we encounter Patsy Cline heartache and AOC outrage delivered in a humor that is solely Wang’s own.
